Winter Is Coming: How Renting a Dumpster Can Make Life Easier

Winter will be here before you know it. Now’s the perfect time to prepare for weather changes and holiday activities. One way to do that is to rent a dumpster this winter. You might think that dumpster rentals are only for commercial projects. That’s not the case though. Dumpsters have quite a few residential uses too. Read the list below to discover five compelling reasons to rent a dumpster this winter.

Packaging Removal

If you’re like most people, you dispose of a lot of packaging materials during the winter months. Between holiday gift-giving, decorations, and parties, households generate a lot of garbage during the winter. Unfortunately, all that debris can create a variety of problems for you.

First, food waste can attract pests. Second, packaging can fill up your curbside trash cans. Finally, gift packaging can attract criminal activity. That’s where a dumpster comes into the picture. When you rent a dumpster during the winter months, you can reduce those risks. All of your packaging fits neatly into your dumpster. And your dumpster gets emptied at least once a week.

Winter Storm Cleanup

You never know when winter storms are going to blow through town. When they do, you can expect quite a bit of damage. That can include lost roofing shingles, broken fences, and toppled trees. Unfortunately, storm-related damage is difficult to clean up, especially if you don’t have enough room for the debris.

You’ll have all the room you need when you rent a dumpster this winter. That means you’ll be able to start the cleanup as soon as the storms pass through. And you won’t need to pay any extra landfill fees to dump the storm debris. Those fees are included in your rental fees.

Holiday Tree Removal

If you decorate your home for the holidays, you need to worry about the cleanup. Holiday lights and other decorations can get packed up and stored for next year. But some other holiday decorations can’t be stored for next year. That includes your holiday trees. If you like to decorate real trees every year, you need somewhere to dispose of them once the holidays are over.

You also need somewhere to dispose of any decorations that break during the holidays. That’s why you should rent a dumpster this winter. When you rent a dumpster, you have a place to dispose of your holiday trees and broken decorations. Plus, you can let the neighbors dispose of their trees too. That way, you can do your part to maintain a clean neighborhood.

Holiday Party Disposal

Holiday parties generate a lot of trash. That includes disposable dinnerware and cutlery, decorations, and food waste, as well as the packaging from holiday gift exchanges. If you plan to have several holiday parties this winter, now’s the time to schedule a dumpster delivery. Dumpsters make cleanup much easier after your holiday parties. Plus, you’ll still have room for your weekly household waste.

Home Renovation Projects

Winter is the perfect time to renovate your home. Winter renovation projects let you breathe new life into your home before you host your holiday parties. If you want to avoid trips to the landfill, rent a dumpster before you start your renovation project. You can use your dumpster for construction waste. Once your projects are completed, you can keep the dumpster on site for the rest of your holiday cleanup needs.

Don’t get caught off-guard this winter. Rent a dumpster and be prepared for all types of winter-related cleanup projects. Call us at EnviroDispose today. We’re here to answer any questions you might have about renting a dumpster this winter.
